A voice that we often listened to during cricket matches in late 90s was of “Ramiz Hasan Raja”. He performed his duties as a commentator after his retirement from Pakistan cricket team. He was born in 1962 and now performing his duties as the 36th chairman of Pakistan cricket board. He was appointed at his dissertation by Imran Khan during his government, that was proved to be the best decision made ever for the betterment of Pakistani Cricket.
Ramiz Hasan Raja’s family belongs to India and his father and mother-in-law were from Haryana, a state in India. He himself is a resident of Faisalabad and his education includes some of the best institutions in Pakistan like Sadiq Public school Bahawalpur, Aitcheson college Lahore and Government college university Lahore.
He is the first in history who has scored ten thousand runs in first-class matches. Ramiz showed his skills in 57 tests and 198 one-day international. His top score in test cricket was 122 and in one day international he hit 119 runs as his best achievement. Ramiz Raja was removed as the head of Pakistan cricket board after their defeat against Sri Lanka. He then offered for commentating after his retirement from all cricket in 1997.
Recently we have seen some aberrant pictures of Ramiz with family in which he is looking a little young but in fresh mood. He loves bright colors and is also seen twinning with his wife. His new clicks from Pakistan international day with his companions and cousins are really impressive and show the better side of our country.
Do you like Ramiz’s new clicks with his family after a long time? How is he looking in the latest photographs? Please tell us in the comment section. Thanks!
