In the recent promo of the singing reality show, Akshay can be seen breaking down in tears while listening to Tarun Ka Sab Ki Kehna Hai from the film Hare Ram Hare Krishna.

Superstar Singer 2 will celebrate Raksha Bandhan exclusively this weekend. Sony’s official Instagram handle has shared a new promo of the show featuring Akshay Kumar. The caption read, “Our #supersingers will tie the knot in an unbreakable string and some spectacular performances! In the video, a contestant dedicates the song Phul Ka Tarun’s Sabka Kehna Hai to Akshay Kumar. As the toddler sang the song, pictures and videos of Akshay celebrating Rakhi with his sister flashed on the screen. Samrat Prithviraj became emotional after seeing these scenes. In the video, he can be seen wiping away his tears.
