HOW DOES IT WORK?
WAMR can’t see your messages since they’re encrypted on your smartphone.
Only reading them from the alerts you get and creating a message backup based on your notification history is an option.
When WAMR detects that a message has been erased, it will send you a notice right away!
MEDIA MESSAGES
WAMR will also attempt to store any material linked to the message, and you will be notified if the sender deletes it.
Pictures, videos, animated gifs, audio, voice notes, documents, and stickers are among the media kinds that can be retrieved.
LIMITATIONS
Please be warned that there is no approved or supported method for recovering deleted communications. This is a workaround that may run into constraints imposed by the chosen messaging app or even the Android operating system:
1) Because text messages are retrieved by your notifications, if you have silenced a conversation or are already monitoring a message on the messaging app before it is erased, you will not receive a notice, and WAMR will not be able to save it! This also implies that you won’t be able to restore any notifications or messages from before you got this programme (so get it now!).
2) If messages aren’t being stored, it’s possible that WAMR has been killed by Android. WAMR should be removed from all battery optimization services!
3) If a file isn’t entirely downloaded, WAMR won’t be able to store it! So, if you’re offline or have an unstable connection, or if the sender deletes a media-containing message before the messaging app downloads it, WAMR won’t be able to store it.
4) If you aren’t connected to the internet through WiFi, some material may not be downloaded automatically by your messaging app due to your settings. You may improve your odds by changing this behaviour in Messaging app > Settings > Data and storage use.
Other restrictions may be imposed by your Android version or the language of your operating system (in particular if it is right-to-left). Please contact me if you have any problems, and I will do my best to solve them.
